Our Region
The ACC Central Queensland region (CQACC) is centred on the Tropic of Capricorn. The region extends from the coast, west to the Northern Territory border and from the Boulia Shire in the North to the Barcoo Shire in the South. The region covers over 517,000 square kilometres in Central Queensland with a population in excess of 210,000 people.
The CQACC is responsible for 12 Regional Shires divided into five sub-regions.
